I consider my style to be a mixture of modern menswear, street style and classical style. I personally tend to favor different things depending on the season and sometimes just how I feel that particular day. During spring and summer I've found myself more drawn to Italian menswear where as fall usually makes me want to use more clothing that are more seen as belonging to street style. Color wise I prefer toned down colors while aiming to keep the palette fresh.
SuitsIn my current situation I don't wear suits apart from more special events. However, in my style I favour the soft lines found in Italian tailoring. Most of my wardrobe consists of different kind of unstructured jackets for different occasions, seasons and weather. Paired with cotton chinos or denim, a spread collar shirt and a semi casual tie such as a knit tie, and you will have a perfect office wear outfit for the Nordic countries where less informal dress code exists.
ShoesWith shoes my taste has evolved quite a bit in the past years, and continues to do so. Right now I'm very much fond of Meermin and Carmina models to go with my more Italian looks. When it comes to the more street outfits however, I love Alden and Tricker's. The Barrie last in particular, creates simply the best-looking longwing and plaintoe derbies.
Brands
My favorite brand for sport coats is definitely LBM 1911. The cut is perfect, fabrics great and the aesthetics of the jackets tends to be exactly what I want. Other good brands and models that I would recommend include Boglioli, Lardini and SuitSupply's Copenhagen fit. In trousers I find Incotex' fabrics quite impressive, and from the cheaper options I would recommend Ralph Lauren. I'm currently in the process of getting my first pair of bespoke chinos, so we'll see how that turns out and if I will move more into that direction.
DetailsEverything is based on the basics. However, once fit and colors are in order, the fun begins. The greatest detail can be that one extra ripple on your folded pocket square, the way your shoes are polished or perhaps the way the color of your sunglasses tucked into your chest pocket compliment your tie. These tiny andinconspicuous things are, sadly, often overlooked.
InspiringThe biggest source of inspiration for me is surely my surroundings. The season of the year, especially.
PeopleThere are several stylish men I look up to, both around the world and here in Finland. However, I can't say I follow any "icons" in particular.
StoresI must admit I do most of my menswear shopping online, mostly due to the lack of supply where I live at the moment. When travelling I would recommend Barney's and Bloomingdale's at New York, pretty much any Ralph Lauren (especially the one in San Francisco due to one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had), SuitSupply stores and for example, Frans Boone in Sluis.

Your blog
I started my blog as a tumblr that would have some outfits posted myself spiced with occasional reblogs. However, my tumblr quickly molded into just outfit posts. It was then I realized tumblr wasn't going to cut it for me, and I opened a new side of The Nordic Fit on Blogspot. After that the site has pretty much taken it's course as a combination of outfits and some more informative texts and other random posts.
At the moment I'm just enjoying my new great platform, Flockler, and trying to keep the content as interesting for both menswear enthusiasts and people new the subject. This will include some very basic introductions to items I find interesting or I've recently acquired, ideas or sources of inspiration and naturally different outfit posts of what I wear myself. In the near future I also aim to launch some features that should give my readers some some extra value for visiting, but more on that later.

Your blog is really cool!!
